October 28, 2015 – Camden, Maine.  Redzone Wireless, LLC, a Maine-based wireless Internet service provider (WISP), has significantly expanded its powerful 4G LTE Advanced wireless broadband network with the activation of coverage in the greater Auburn area. 

The expanded high speed Internet service in Auburn was privately funded by Redzone, and is now in full commercial operation.  Today’s network launch follows Redzone’s September announcement that network coverage had exceeded 100,000 Maine households.

Redzone has reached another important milestone by providing 4G LTE Advanced broadband network coverage to Maine’s 5^th largest city.  “We are very proud to bring the world’s most advanced wireless broadband technology to the Auburn community,” said Jim McKenna, Redzone Wireless, LLC President. “With its capable and motivated municipal leadership, Auburn is now better positioned from a technology perspective to drive economic growth and development,” explained McKenna.

The company has scheduled a press conference at Auburn City Hall on October 29th at 10am.  Redzone management will join Auburn municipal and business leaders to mark the network launch with a formal announcement & ribbon cutting.
